At the recent SNEC Smart E conference in Munich, integrated energy solutions provider Ganfeng LiEnergy announced cooperation intentions exceeding 30 GWh of storage projects. The company will present its comprehensive full-scenario energy storage portfolio at Intersolar Europe 2026 on June 23, spanning the full value chain from cells, modules and packs to system integration, plant development and operation, and battery recycling.
A subsidiary of Ganfeng Lithium, a global lithium ecosystem leader, Ganfeng LiEnergy delivers AC/DC storage solutions, utility-scale and commercial & industrial battery energy storage systems, solar-plus-storage installations and energy storage power plants. Its vertically integrated approach—from upstream resource development and mid-stream processing of lithium compounds and metals to downstream battery production and recycling—has earned recognition on BloombergNEF’s Global Tier 1 Energy Storage Manufacturer List for Q2 2026. The company’s production base has also been designated a Green Factory for its large-scale, high-quality output.
Ganfeng LiEnergy’s global sales network supports landmark projects in key markets. These include:
- 1 GW/4 GWh grid-forming storage site in Inner Mongolia
- an energy storage plant in the UK
- a solar-plus-storage project in Argentina
- an independent system in Germany
- a commercial and industrial deployment in Spain
- a mining-power integration initiative in Mali
All projects are planned, supplied and operated by GFL BESS LIMITED, while regional sales and service offices in Germany, Spain, the United States, Australia and Canada provide 24/7 customer support.
At Intersolar Europe, the company will highlight a 6.26 MWh containerized system built on a modular design with 392 Ah and 588 Ah large-format cells. This system reduces land use by 31% and component count per GWh by 47% versus traditional layouts, improving reliability and simplifying operation and maintenance. It also achieves 96.5% energy efficiency, offers configurable durations from two to eight hours, and lowers both capital and operating expenses to cut the levelized cost of storage by over 20%. A six-layer protection design, temperature resilience from –40 °C to 60 °C and compliance with international shipping and land transport standards support safe deployment. The system holds IEC, GB, UL and CB certifications, with LSFT testing underway.
Ganfeng LiEnergy’s 314 Ah cell employs cathode lithium replenishment to reach 15,000 cycles—well aligned with solar-plus-storage lifespans—and is now in mass delivery for long-duration projects. The company also offers integrated 120–261 kWh solutions and residential systems for grid-side applications, peak shaving and home energy management. As global demand for reliable, low-carbon infrastructure grows, Ganfeng LiEnergy is expanding its footprint in Europe and North America to support renewable integration, grid resilience and long-term decarbonization.
