Energix develops, owns and operates renewable energy and energy storage projects. Its long-term growth strategy targets a global portfolio of more than 8 GW. As part of the collaboration, the companies plan to conduct regular reviews and evaluate further opportunities across Energix’s renewable energy project pipeline. According to LG Energy Solution, combining renewable generation with energy storage is expected to support grid flexibility and reliable clean energy delivery in key markets.

The agreement follows previous collaboration between the companies in Europe. LG Energy Solution supplied battery solutions for Energix’s Nowe Czarnowo project in Poland. The companies are also discussing potential cooperation on the Jonava project in Lithuania, a hybrid renewable energy development that includes approximately 320 MWh of energy storage capacity and is targeted to begin commercial operations in 2027.

LG Energy Solution said the memorandum could expand its participation in large-scale energy storage projects in Europe while building on its recent progress in North American projects linked to power grids and renewable energy. The company plans to use its technology and local manufacturing capabilities to pursue additional energy storage business in both regions.
