Nyobolt, a developer of ultra-fast, high-power energy solutions, has completed a $60 million Series C financing round, securing a valuation of $1 billion. The funding, led by robotics automation firm Symbotic with support from IQ Capital, Latitude (Phoenix Court), Scania Invest and CBMM, will accelerate Nyobolt’s efforts to bring its power performance technologies to autonomous machines, robotics applications and AI data centers.

Over the past year, Nyobolt’s revenues have increased fivefold, driven by rising demand for rapid charging and high-power battery systems in both physical AI applications and data center environments. As autonomous robots and automated systems expand beyond factory floors into warehouses, healthcare facilities and urban settings, conventional batteries struggle to meet the variable and intense power requirements. Similarly, data centers handling large-scale AI workloads face transient power demands that traditional uninterruptible power supply infrastructure was not designed to manage.

“Nyobolt is enabling the always-on, always-moving infrastructure that physical AI demands,” said Sai Shivareddy, Co-founder and Chief Executive Officer. “The enterprises deploying autonomous systems at scale can’t afford downtime, swap time, or power flickers. Our technology delivers a powerful trifecta: improved performance, exceptional durability, and a more sustainable operation, enabling a new generation of machines to run harder and smarter.”

One of Nyobolt’s key commercial achievements is its collaboration with Symbotic to power the SymBot™ autonomous mobile robots. Compared to previous ultracapacitor solutions, Nyobolt’s performance batteries offer six times more energy capacity, are 40 percent lighter and provide at least ten times the cycle life of conventional lithium-ion cells. This improvement supports 24/7 operations in demanding warehouse environments. Nyobolt is also working with other robotics developers, including a leading humanoid robot company, to enhance work-to-charge ratios.

In addition to robotics applications, Nyobolt has signed a memorandum of understanding with the government of Rajasthan, India, to deploy more than 100 MW of off-grid AI data centers and energy storage infrastructure, with a focus on renewable energy integration and grid-independent operation.

Founded in 2019, Nyobolt holds an extensive patent portfolio and is expanding its global footprint to meet the growing need for reliable, high-power energy systems.
