European energy storage specialist Skeleton Technologies and autonomous systems developer TEKEVER have signed a Memorandum of Understanding at Eurosatory 2026 in Paris to explore collaboration on defence, aerospace and advanced technology applications. The agreement establishes a framework for joint work on high-performance power architectures for autonomous platforms, sensing and space-related capabilities, and sovereign European defence and dual-use technologies. Potential areas of cooperation include edge computing, defence AI training and inference infrastructure, and AI-enabled defence systems.

The partnership brings together complementary European innovation ecosystems, with a focus on the UK, France, Estonia and NATO’s Eastern flank. TEKEVER recently opened its first office in Tallinn to deepen engagement with the Estonian technology and defence sector, while Skeleton Technologies maintains a defence hub in France and is active in advanced power system development across the continent.

In France, the two companies plan to expand joint projects within the Toulouse aerospace ecosystem. They will leverage their respective footprints to support future programmes across allied nations, including opportunities in Portugal and the UK. By combining TEKEVER’s expertise in AI-centric autonomous systems with Skeleton’s leadership in ultracapacitor-based power solutions, the collaboration aims to deliver next-generation capabilities that reinforce Europe’s technological sovereignty and resilience.

Estonian Minister of Defence Hanno Pevkur highlighted the broader significance of the partnership, noting that cooperation in defence industry innovation and capability development is becoming as important as traditional military ties. He welcomed the agreements reached during Eurosatory, which strengthen Franco-Estonian collaboration in procurement, innovation and industrial cooperation.

Through this MoU, Skeleton Technologies and TEKEVER intend to assess specific projects and align their roadmaps to meet the demands of high-intensity conflict environments and advanced aerospace applications. The cooperation underscores the growing role of European technology firms in delivering sovereign, high-performance solutions for security, industrial resilience and innovation.
