PULSETRAIN’s proprietary In-Battery platform integrates the BMS, inverter, onboard charger, MCU, and DC-DC converter into the battery pack. Powered by PT Intelligence, an AI-enabled real-time thermal management and charging optimization software, it offers overcurrent/overvoltage protection, advanced cooling pathways, bidirectional energy flow, and pulse charging techniques to optimize lithium-ion cell utilization, reduce weight by up to 20%, and extend battery lifespan by 80%.
The In-Battery platform combines five critical powertrain components in a single lightweight package, reducing space and redundant parts. PT Intelligence software autonomously adjusts charging rates, predicts degradation, and supports fast pulse charging. The system is scalable across automotive, commercial vehicles, two-wheelers, agricultural machinery, and industrial equipment.
In collaboration with Handtmann, PULSETRAIN deployed its multi-level inverter technology in a custom construction vehicle, improving power delivery, off-road acceleration, and reducing downtime and energy costs.
PULSETRAIN completed a €6.1M seed round in early 2025 led by Vsquared Ventures and Planet A Ventures, with participation from Climate Club.
