Since 2023, Voltaplex Energy has partnered strategically to bring new battery technologies to market, notably launching the Voltaplex Life™ 18650 cell. They are developing additional 18650 cell options focused on safety and performance and promote lithium-ion batteries as replacements for lead-acid in telecom backup power applications.
Voltaplex Energy was acquired by Soteria Battery Innovation Group in early 2023, making Soteria the principal investor and owner of the company. No other outside investors or venture funding rounds are publicly disclosed.
