EVE Energy and Stark Future have expanded their strategic collaboration to advance the performance of electric motorcycles in off-road racing. The partnership, announced for the 2026 season, covers technical development and race participation in premier FIM World championships, including World Supercross (WSX), SuperEnduro, HardEnduro and EnduroGP. By combining their expertise, the two companies aim to produce electric motorcycles that deliver higher power output, longer runtimes, faster charging and consistent performance under demanding conditions.
Headquartered in Barcelona, Stark Future has gained recognition for its VARG platform, which integrates race-level power with the simplicity and low maintenance advantages of electric drivetrains. EVE Energy contributes its specialization in cylindrical battery technology to support the development and production of VARG models. Together, they have refined three variants to suit different disciplines:
- VARG MX, optimized for lightweight handling and maximum track performance;
- VARG EX, a road-legal Enduro model built for technical terrain and long-distance off-road riding, prioritizing energy density and thermal stability;
- VARG SM, a supermoto design that balances strong power delivery, efficient charging and versatility for both road and circuit use.
Central to this collaboration is the 26120 cylindrical cell, engineered for high-performance applications. The cell offers a peak 10C discharge rate and energy density of 310 Wh/kg, reducing overall vehicle mass while maintaining stable output through repeated charge and discharge cycles. EVE Energy and Stark Future will validate this battery in live competition, using race results to refine performance and reliability under stress.
By competing together, the partners intend to both showcase their joint innovations and accelerate product development through real-world feedback. The renewed alliance underscores a commitment to technical co-creation, product innovation and sustainable performance improvements across all high-performance electric motorcycle categories.
