ProLogium Technology Co., Ltd. announced on October 8, 2026, that it will present its GEN4 Dynamic Coordination Network (DCN) electrolyte architecture at the 2026 Mondial de l’Auto Paris. The company describes DCN as a third lithium-ion transport mechanism beyond the solvent-assisted diffusion of liquid electrolytes and the fixed pathways used by conventional solid electrolytes.

GEN4 incorporates ProLogium’s Superfluidized Inorganic Electrolyte (SFIE), in which engineered ligands create changing local coordination structures. According to the company, these interactions constrain anions, increase lithium-ion transference and reduce concentration gradients during charging and discharging. SFIE also has non-Newtonian characteristics: it flows under applied stress and returns to a solid state after the stress is removed. ProLogium said this behavior helps maintain electrode-electrolyte contact, reduce interfacial resistance and lower reliance on high stack pressure.

SGS-witnessed testing showed ionic conductivity of up to 57 mS/cm at room temperature. ProLogium’s internal tests also recorded charging from 5% to 80% in 6.4 minutes, more than 1,000 fast-charge cycles, capacity retention above 90% at -20°C and discharge rates of 15C. Its Active Safety Mechanism is designed to passivate reactive electrode materials at approximately 125°C to interrupt thermal runaway.

At the show, ProLogium will display an EV battery module integrating its cells with FEV’s system integration work, along with an automotive battery pack prototype jointly developed with OPmobility. The OPmobility prototype follows a memorandum of understanding signed at Battery Show Europe in June 2026. ProLogium also said Mercedes-Benz has priority access to its GEN4 cells under a joint testing agreement covering electrical, thermal and safety validation.

The company has established GWh-scale production lines in Taoyuan, Taiwan, while construction and grid-connection work continue for its Dunkirk gigafactory in France. ProLogium will also present a recycling process under which individual cells can be replaced, electrode materials can enter third-party closed-loop recycling, and ceramic separators and SFIE can be returned to production. The company expects an SFIE recovery rate of 90%.
