Ampace has introduced two new lithium-ion energy storage solutions at Intersolar Europe 2026 under its “Meet All, Green More” theme. The first product, the UniC AG440, is a commercial and industrial system co-developed with CATL, while the second, the PR-S3 Elite, is designed for residential applications.
UniC AG440 integrates CATL’s lithium iron phosphate (LFP) cell technology with Ampace’s distributed energy expertise. Each node can support up to 45 units, providing nearly 20 MWh of capacity—50 percent more energy density than standard 200 kWh systems and requiring half the installation footprint. The system holds certifications including UL9540A, IEC 62619, IEC 62477 and ISO 13849 PLd, and operates reliably down to –25 °C without auxiliary heating.
Dr. Qingfeng Yuan, Chief Technology Officer at Ampace, noted that these solutions are intended to help businesses and households build resilient, sustainable energy systems. Xu Jinmei, CTO of CATL’s Energy Storage System Division, added that the UniC AG440 is a purpose-built solution for the European market and underscores the partners’ commitment to renewable integration and sustainability goals.
The PR-S3 Elite residential system incorporates FrostCore Tech to maintain normal charge and discharge performance at temperatures as low as –20 °C. It is rated for a 15,000-cycle life and guarantees zero capacity loss for the first three years, lowering total cost of ownership while ensuring reliability in cold climates.
In support of its environmental commitments, Ampace recently achieved operational carbon neutrality under ISO 14068-1:2023, as verified by TÜV SÜD. Its manufacturing operations are powered entirely by zero-carbon electricity sourced from large-scale solar generation and storage. The company also earned a Silver Medal from EcoVadis, ranking it among the top 10 percent of assessed organizations for sustainability performance, and joined the United Nations Global Compact to reinforce its dedication to responsible growth and climate action.
