At Intersolar Europe 2026 in Munich, Envision demonstrated its integrated power system capabilities, highlighting solutions that connect, store and orchestrate renewable energy across an end-to-end architecture. The showcase featured the company’s AI Power System for data centers, the Gen 8 4.X MWh long-duration energy storage system, and a full-stack hybrid wind-solar-storage solution built around Envision’s in-house solar inverter.

Making their European debut, these solutions reflect Envision’s system-level approach, which spans battery cells, power electronics, digital platforms and real-time coordination. The products target three main objectives: providing clean, reliable power for AI infrastructure, stabilizing grids with high renewable penetration and advancing industrial decarbonization.

Kevin Huang, senior vice president and president of the energy storage product line at Envision, noted that the next phase of the energy transition will be driven not only by cost per watt hour, but by the competitiveness of complete power systems. He added that Envision aims to make renewable energy stable, dispatchable and economically competitive at scale.

The AI Power System addresses the growing gap between compute demand and available clean power. It integrates grid-side hybrid wind-solar-storage arrays, medium-voltage grid-forming battery storage and an 800 V DC architecture using solid-state transformer technology. An Envision 2.5 MW SST container converts up to 98.5 percent of input voltage, while reducing copper usage by as much as 80 percent. Complementary 800 V DC energy storage options include a compact lithium iron phosphate system for multi-hour backup and a rapid-response sodium-ion solution for smoothing fast load fluctuations.

The Gen 8 long-duration energy storage system delivers 4.X MWh of capacity with 8 to 16 hours of storage, up to 91 percent round-trip efficiency and a design life of 25 years. Built on Envision’s own cells and SiC power conditioning technology, it offers 250 percent overload capability, 2 percent state-of-charge accuracy and modular footprint reduction of more than 30 percent.

Envision’s full-stack hybrid wind-solar-storage solution adds a grid-tied string inverter to its real-time coordination platform, enabling millisecond-level control from module to plant scale. The company also provides forecasting, planning, dispatch and long-term operations services to optimize performance throughout each project’s lifecycle.
