🔋 Hyundai SK Battery JV Begins Mass Cell Production in Georgia

Hyundai SK Battery Manufacturing America, a $5 billion SK On and Hyundai Motor Group joint venture, has begun mass producing cells at its Bartow County, Georgia plant. The site now supplies cells to Hyundai’s Savannah EV facility and targets 35 GWh per year. Read more

China’s power battery installations hit 76.5 GWh in June, up 31.5% year-on-year and 6.4% month-on-month, with LFP at 83.3% share. The report also states exports rose 48.7% to 36.2 GWh, and H1 cumulative installs reached 335.6 GWh. Read more
